Describe the work of this position:

40% 1. Perform final inspection of the boat visually and physically to determine buyoff. This task occurs when assistance is needed in that area.

5 % 2. Final visual fiberglass inspection done at the end of the line which is separate from the final boat inspection. This is done to eliminate any flaws or damage on the line before being moved outside. Other Quality Assurance personnel randomly check this task to ensure consistency and quality.

10 % 3. Physically train new and seasoned team members regarding changes and the necessary action brought about due to quality problems with a boat. Supervisors check this task to ensure associates are performing correctly.

12 % 4. Visually and physically inspects the upholstery, hardware, carpet, and wire bundles on the deckline and hull line to ensure proper fit, appearance, and quality. Other Quality Assurance personnel check later down the line to ensure consistency and accuracy of the task.

1 % 5. Attends the Quality First Team meetings between departments in order to develop and present information regarding quality to upper management. Management does participate in these meetings.

(Completion of other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor will be expected in order to address unexpected situations or needs that may arise.)


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
